OCT 25~28 2010 Taiwan International Green Industry Show

Looking for the hottest and the most cutting-edge solutions in green technology? Don’t miss the 2010 Taiwan International Green Industry Show (TIGIS), a comprehensive “green” platform that revolves around the three major sustainable development themes of clean energy, green environment and water technology running from October 25 to 28 at the Taiwan World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Taipei, Taiwan.

In its second year, TIGIS guarantees high-energy turnover with two related shows held in conjunction—CEPSI 2010 (the Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry) and PV Taiwan 2010 (the Taiwan International Photovoltaic Forum & Exhibition).

The three events are expected to generate huge interest and attract mammoth crowds from across the Asia Pacific region.

While the TIGIS spotlights “green” technologies such as wind turbines, fuel cells, light emitting diodes(LED), biofuel, electric vehicles and smart grids, the collocated CEPSI, which is being held in Taiwan for the first time, features the latest technological innovations, products and services related to the power supply industry, including power generation, transmission, and distribution, and customer management. Meanwhile PV Taiwan, Asia’s foremost PV expo, showcases products like PV materials, silicon wafers / ingots, solar cells HCPV, PV modules BIPV, power generator systems and processing equipment. Buyers can scout out the complete spectrum of green products at just one stop!

TIGIS and CEPSI together are hosting 216 exhibitors occupying 513 booths. TIGIS's exhibitors cover every sector: SME, academia and state organizations (including the Bureau of Energy under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Environmental Protection Administration, and the Atomic Energy Commission), and JETRO (The Japan External Trade Organization).

CEPSI fields a triple-A line-up of superstars like ABB, IBM, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Alstom, J-Power, Kyushu Electric Power Company, Tokyo Electric Power Company, and four major China power groups: China GuoDian, China Huaneng, State Grid, and China Southern Power Grid Corporation Ltd.

The three expos — TIGIS, CEPSI and PV Taiwan — cover the entire spectrum of the energy sector. Unprecedented in scale and business opportunity, the shows unite 500 exhibitors in over 1,000 booths, with a record visitor projection of over 30,000.

In terms of green tech capacity, Taiwan ranks sixth out of 58 nations and second among Asian countries after Japan, according to an IMD survey published in the 2010 World Competitiveness Yearbook. At this technological hub, buyers can expect to see the latest, state-of-the-art green tech and TIGIS makes it convenient with just one stop.
